Ultrasound Contrast Agent Nanobubbles
Nanobubbles from FUS Instruments are a unique contrast agent for preclinical studies. The composition of these nanobubbles is similar in nature to clinical microbubbles. he unique ingredients in the shell reduce the mean diameter of these agents to 180-230 nm and increases their stability after activation. These are an excellent bubble agent for therapeutic ultrasound and imaging studies.
These acoustic contrast agent nanobubbles to facilitate drug delivery and increased blood-brain barrier permeability experiments using focused ultrasound at a reduced cost compared to clinical microbubble formulations. In collaboration with Agata Exner, Ph.D. at Case Western Reserve University, nanobubbles can be ordered to sustain large volumes of focused ultrasound experiments.
